Job Description

About the Role

This entry-level software engineer position is part of SEI's Associates Program, designed for high-achieving students interested in making their mark, pushing innovation, and creating lasting success. The program is a twelve-month intensive experience including career planning workshops, group projects, networking events, and exposure to senior management. The role involves developing high-quality code, analyzing and resolving issues, providing technical support, and interacting with team members such as architects and project managers. SEI is a global provider of investment processing, management, and operations solutions, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality code in Java and Angular.
  • Analyze and resolve issues during testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery cycle.
  • Provide technical support to error inquiries.
  • Interact with various team members including architects and project managers.
  • Suggest process improvements and ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science or other technology-related field.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization.
  • Graduated between December 2024 - June 2025.
  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Prior work experience or internship, preferably within the FinTech industry, specifically in software development.
  • Experience holding leadership positions.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and quickly adapt to change.
  • Self-motivation with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ability to think creatively and seek optimum solutions.
  • Experience with teamwork and leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Graduation timeframe between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5.
