The role of AI Governance and Adoption Specialist is based at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY, focusing on driving the company's AI strategy, governance, ethics, literacy, and engagement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold governance structures that reflect ethical standards and evolving regulations, driving responsible and sustainable AI deployment.
  • Create engaging educational and coaching programs to demystify AI for diverse audiences, building individual and collective capabilities.
  • Partner across teams to identify transformative opportunities where AI tools and solutions could redefine processes, inspire creative solutions, and unlock new value.
  • Define leading indicators to evaluate AI investments and their business impact, ensuring initiatives are measurable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Bridge technology, business, and support needs to harmonize solution approaches with organization goals.

Requirements

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Over three (3) years of proven experience in AI/ML, data science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and their applications in business.
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, ethics, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Practical understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance issues related to AI.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Must be able to work onsite at East Aurora, NY; travel may be required (10%-15%).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in change management or organizational development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
