About the Role

The AI/ML Data Scientist will architect, design, and implement scalable AI/ML computing infrastructures, applications, and systems. The role involves developing AI/ML algorithms and models for DoD applications such as command and control, situational awareness, machine autonomy, munitions guidance and targeting, image recognition, and electronic warfare. The position requires building and maintaining data pipelines, evaluating model performance, and exploring new AI/ML technologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to internal tools are also key aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement scalable AI/ML computing infrastructures, applications, and systems.
Design, develop, and implement AI/ML algorithms and models for DoD applications such as command and control, situational awareness, machine autonomy, munitions guidance and targeting, image recognition, and electronic warfare.
Build and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Develop and implement model evaluation metrics and monitor model performance.
Evaluate and implement the latest advancements in AI/ML, data mining, and analytics, and explore new technologies and techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems and workflows.
Contribute to the development of internal tools and libraries to enhance the efficiency of the AI/ML team.
Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
