About the Role

Microservices AWS Cloud Developer/Engineer will be responsible for any technological duties associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management and support. The individual needs to be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems under minimal supervision. Development and integration tasks will include designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native microservices using best practices for containerization and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and creating microservices using patterns like 12factorapp and other best practices for containerization.
Deploying cloud resources hands-on.
Writing highly available medium/large microservice-based applications, involving at least a dozen or more microservices interacting with each other.
Working with Event Driven Architectures.
Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes (K8S).

Requirements

Experience writing highly available medium/large microservice-based applications with at least a dozen microservices interacting with each other.
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to Have

5 years of cloud engineering experience.
Experience with cloud-based technology, including AWS (multiple cloud experience a plus).
Deploying microservices within a monolithic deployment setup knowledge.
JAVA-based backend development.
Familiarity with DevSecOps.
Experience with high message traffic processing.
Tech Stack: GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Kubernetes, Containers, CICD, AWS Cloud emphasis with other Cloud experience a plus.
