About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure database migration projects to ensure seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
• Oversee the optimization of Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL MI to enhance performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures to streamline database operations and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with business objectives in asset and wealth management.
• Provide technical expertise in T-SQL to support complex query development and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in database management.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning to maintain optimal database performance.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve database solutions.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor and report on database performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing remote and in-office tasks.
• Contribute to the company's mission by enhancing database capabilities that support asset and wealth management services.

Requirements

• Possess extensive experience in Azure DB Migration service, Azure SQL DB, and Azure SQL MI.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing and optimizing stored procedures and T-SQL.
• Have a strong background in asset and wealth management domain.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Display strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
