Azure Data Engineer with Python & SQL Experience

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Works closely with experience design, business execution, digital analytics, and digital technology stakeholders to design, specify, and perform quality testing.
• Participant in the software development and experience in full life cycle.
• Expert in the technologies used to manage digital customer data for segmentation and for analytics.
• Need to understand the first- and third-party data required to describe the customer and the customer's activities across their interactions for purposes of segmentation definition to enable contextual marketing and personalization.
• Defines data collection activities for projects that create or modify customer facing digital experiences, including app and web.
• Analysis of what needs to be measured; definition of new metrics and dimensions including prescribing values for those metrics and dimensions.
• Creation of technical documentation for developers and authors to enable the collection of data.
• Execution of quality assurance activities to validate that the data is being produced and captured per the design.
• Strong data/tech writing skills including the ability to write Analytics requirements concisely and clearly for audiences ranging from business stakeholders to technical developers.
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and be simultaneously customer oriented and process oriented.
• Possesses demonstrable analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/synthesize business needs into business requirements and can then translate those business requirements into technical data collection requirements for developers.

Requirements

• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Kansas City, KS or must be willing to relocate to the area.
• This position may require travel within the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of Information Technology experience.
• At least 6 months of experience in Azure.
• At least 6 months of experience in Python & SQL.
