About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build applications/solutions and identify opportunities for technical enhancement, process automation, and process improvements based on business requirements.
• Assist with Medicare and Medicaid reporting by utilizing data warehouses to create compliance, oversight, surveillance, information, custom client, and mandatory Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reports.
• Analyze, design, and develop new code.
• Change existing programs, prepare test cases, set up test data, and conduct unit testing of code changes.
• Perform technical design, program unit, and system tests to determine if the software meets specified requirements and isolate written code to test if it performs as intended.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and retrogression testing, ensuring changes to a system have not adversely impacted the existing functionality.
• Develop solutions to observed test failures.
• Conduct promotion of code to various regions to support quality assurance testing, install in production, and perform postproduction monitoring.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to create and update required documents for application changes and analyze and fix issues in case of production job abends.
• Conduct and attend walk-throughs for technical specifications, unit test cases, coding, test results, and tracking for shareholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Systems, Computer Applications or related field.
• At least three years of experience in software development.
• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Proficiency with Teradata SQL, Mainframe technologies, FastLoad, Mload, Basic Teradata Query (BTEQ), JIRA, Agile methodologies, and GITHUB.
• Internet connection through cable broadband or fiber optic service with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in healthcare domain and relevant technologies.
