Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize BI reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in the creation of data models, metadata layers, data markets, and related catalogs.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for BI solutions.
  • Develop and manage data management scripts, code version controls, and catalogs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for data management and analytics.
  • Support business requirements and data architecture solutions related to data and BI.
  • Automate repetitive business processes using BI and data tools.
  • Provide data-driven insights and communicate findings and insights through visualizations and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in Business Analytics or related field.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, etc.
  • Experience creating and maintaining dashboards, visualizations, and KPIs.
  • Programming and development experience in Python, SQL, GitHub, etc.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data management, data layers, and data schemas.
  • Some knowledge of cloud BI and data analytics environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems, conduct research as needed, and see projects through to fruition.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in the energy industry, including energy sustainability and transition topics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
  • Adherence to high standards of ethics and respect for individuals and the work environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in developing data and business analytics in AWS.
  • Knowledge of cloud BI and data analytics environments such as AWS, Azure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in Business Analytics or related field.
