Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle Cloud reporting tools such as Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP).
• Occasionally troubleshoot and support Tableau reports.
• Write SQL and PL/SQL against backend Fusion tables from ERP, EPM, and SCM modules, and combine Fusion data with other data sources.
• Create complex data models, data visualizations, and ad-hoc queries to meet business reporting needs.
• Ensure reports are optimized for performance, accuracy, and usability.
• Analyze medium-large sets of data within Oracle Cloud applications to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Work with business units to understand their reporting requirements and provide solutions.
• Configure and manage Oracle Cloud reporting environments, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Perform regular audits and validations of reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage report scheduling, distribution, and access controls to ensure timely and secure delivery.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all reports, including technical specifications, data sources, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements in all reporting activities.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in business intelligence or related field.
• Experience building and supporting Oracle Fusion Reports.
• Proficiency with OTBI, BICC, BIP, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Good understanding of back-end data models and ERDs of tables in the EPM, SCM, and ERP modules.
• Knowledge of connecting and leveraging tables for data integration beyond Fusion.
• Backend knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture as it pertains to reporting.
