Key Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders to confirm reporting solution enhancements by negotiating requirements, defining data and UI business rules, designing report changes, testing for alignment, and releasing reports on schedule
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation and implementation of business rules for reporting deliverables
  • Partner with the field training team to develop training materials and deliver training to new hires
  • Provide senior leadership visibility into Reports releases
  • Lead the production and interpretation of data for standard reports (e.g., weekly key metric dashboards, monthly tracking reports)
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance reports and reporting processes based on evolving business needs
  • Manage weekly release runs for field dashboards, portal communications, and data inquiries
  • Develop and implement reporting quality control standards and processes to ensure report accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory compliance SOPs and regulations
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure efficient project completion
  • Build positive relationships and work cross-functionally with field, marketing, finance, the broader CD&A team, and other partners
  • Offer guidance to managers and team members, helping them navigate project phases and initiate tickets as needed
  • Drive innovation by researching and implementing new reporting and analytical tools, methodologies, best practices, and new data sources

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience
  • OR Master's degree and 4 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience
  • OR Associate's degree and 10 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience
  • OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Commercial Reporting/Analytics/Insights experience

Nice to Have

  • Developing SME in data, analytics, dashboarding, and reporting approaches
  • Strong experience with brand, sales, activity reporting, and incentive compensation
  • Skilled in Plan of Action (POA) targeting and field systems solutions such as Veeva (Salesforce), Customer Master (MDM), and reporting tools like Tableau and PowerBI
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical data, including IMS DDD, Xponent data, Plan Track, Managed Markets, and chargeback data
  • Proficient in transforming unstructured business issues/requests into actionable plans
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver solutions and manage competing priorities
  • Experience in data management, business analysis, and solution design/development
  • Proven experience managing multiple leadership partners and delivering on competing priorities
  • Strong client service and communication skills—written, oral, and presentation
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts through verbal communication or visual aids
  • Expertise in analytics/consultative skills to enhance methodologies and processes
  • Ability to prioritize team efforts and resources
  • Proficient in facilitating, negotiating, and resolving conflicts
  • Engages and collaborates with cross-functional teams to shape brand strategy and assess risks and opportunities

  • Formal educational background as specified in requirements (Doctorate, Master's, Bachelor's, Associate's, or High school diploma/GED)
