About the Role

Guidehouse is seeking Data Consultants who will provide data solutions (analysis, data engineering, data science etc.) to a Department of Defense client. The role involves building data pipelines, developing visualizations and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and security, and staying updated with the latest trends in data analytics. The position requires working independently to convert business and functional requirements into data products and maintaining good client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Provide data solutions including analysis, data engineering, and data science to a Department of Defense client.
Build data pipelines, develop visualizations and dashboards across multiple domain areas.
Use advanced tools and technologies such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
Ensure data integrity and security, adhering to best practices in data management.
Convert business and functional requirements into data pipelines, reports, visualizations, and predictive models.
Maintain good working relationships with clients and communicate data insights effectively to enable data-driven decisions.

Requirements

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelor's Degree.
THREE (3) or more years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or data engineer.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science or related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Experience with design and build of ETL programs, interfaces, and data reconciliation processes.
Experience developing reports and dashboards for data consumers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization.
