About the Role

The position focuses on developing and maintaining data-driven projects and tools. The candidate will design, build, and maintain infrastructure and systems that enable efficient collection, storage, and processing of large volumes of data. The role requires a creative mindset, strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, process, and store structured and unstructured data.
Establish and support scheduled ETL processes for reoccurring database updates.
Automate workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading the data.
Develop and optimize various data models that feed Business Intelligence products, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through validation, monitoring, and testing.
Analyze data for discrepancies and identify errors and abnormalities in the data.
Integrate data models into Business Intelligence platforms.
Work with cross-business teams to understand business objectives, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver effective data solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
5+ years of SQL experience, data engineering/analysis.
Solid experience with SQL including table structuring, creating queries and stored procedures.
Experience with ETL tools.
Proficiency in MS Office Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze complex data workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
