Data Science Analyst - Python and Machine Learning

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work on solving business problems for Retail/CPG clients through data-driven insights.
• Refine user requirements and analyze data to answer business queries.
• Communicate data-derived insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior consultants and data scientists.
• Advise clients and internal teams on appropriate analytical models, platforms, and approaches for complex business problems.
• Develop and implement data pipelines to source and transform data.
• Apply latest technologies in data mining, visualization, statistical modeling, pattern recognition, and optimization.
• Perform analysis on metrics movements, incorporating data pipeline and high-tech domain knowledge, and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty per year of education.
• Located within commuting distance of Redmond, WA or Bellevue, WA, or willing to relocate; on-site position.
• Ability to travel within the US as required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Science/Analytics.
• At least 4 years of experience in SQL for developing data pipelines.
• Proven ability to create data pipelines to source and transform data.
• At least 3 years of hands-on ML coding experience in Python.
• 3+ years of experience with forecasting using timeseries and ML-based models (e.g., ARIMA, ARIMAX).
• 4+ years of experience working with Big Data Platforms, specifically Azure.
• 3+ years of experience with platforms similar to COSMOS (Scope) or Databricks (Pyspark).
• 2+ years of experience with visualization tools, PowerBI preferred.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing metrics movements, data pipelines, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience in stakeholder presentation or advising on ML projects.

Nice to Have

• MBA or MS in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven experience with GenAI and LLM.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in High-Tech, ML/AI domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in diverse, multi-stakeholder teams.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
