Data Scientist Senior

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI adoption by acting as the primary expert on a cross-functional team, communicating capabilities, trade-offs, and implementation choices to technical and non-technical stakeholders while guiding solution design and driving alignment.
• Help modernize contact centers and service desks through enhanced self-service and virtual agent capabilities.
• Implement GenAI with large language models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to deliver precise, data-driven responses.
• Enhance virtual agents through advanced features including classification and sentiment analysis.
• Build an agentic framework enabling service ticket management, account administration, and intelligent journey orchestration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience.
• Experienced data scientist who facilitates collaboration, guides teams through uncertainty, and translates AI strategy into actionable plans in mixed-maturity environments.
• Experience with GenAI using large language models (LLMs), RAG, and knowledge bases.
• Expertise in AI/ML technologies on Google Cloud and AWS including Bedrock, Lambda, and SageMaker.
• Experience in machine learning and statistical techniques and modeling with both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems, communicate effectively, and implement novel solutions in a dynamic field.
• Ability to obtain a public trust.

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use cases.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools in Google Vertex AI and Microsoft Azure.
• Background in NLP and conversational AI design.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and orchestration systems.
• Experience in forecasting, anomaly detection, classification, and clustering.
• Skilled in data visualization using Python and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management.
• Experience in government contracting.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with legacy systems.
