Database Marketing Analyst/Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interview and communicate with Business Stakeholders to gather requirements and collaborate through all phases of development.
• Data Integration from disparate data sources such as SAP, Five9, Salesforce, Postal Data, Product Surveys, S3, SFTP, and various sources to create a data warehouse for the organizational data.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from SQL Server, APIs, Glue, Snowflake, and other data platforms to enhance organizational data and support data-driven initiatives.
• Analyze complex logical database designs, logical data models, and optimize database performance to ensure scalability for growing data volumes and processing demands.
• Maintain organizational KPIs that provide visibility into business and marketing activities; work with stakeholders to align reports using tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SSRS, and SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain complex dashboards for Executive, Operations, Sales, Logistics, and Marketing teams using Tableau.
• Maintain a central repository of customer behavior data to support marketing campaigns such as direct mail, email, and social media marketing.
• Assist in developing marketing forecast models for subscription and non-subscription customers and help determine their lifetime value.
• Perform match-back analysis to measure the performance of sales campaigns.
• Support in defining trends, testing hypotheses, and identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.
• Manage and implement various marketing-related projects as defined by leadership using appropriate tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of related data experience or related university projects requiring ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficient in visualization tools such as Tableau, Python, SQL, API Framework, PowerShell, and scripting.
• Understanding of Cloud Ecosystem and Snowflake.
• Understanding of Source Control such as GitHub.
• Results-oriented project management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to analyze information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Data Analysis.
• Experience with Data Migration / Integration tools.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data pipelines and data warehouse architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
