Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software using C for embedded applications.
• Implement firmware in various types of regulated environments such as Aerospace, Defense, Space, Medical Devices, and Automotive.
• Develop C code from scratch for embedded systems.
• Utilize various RTOS, with a preference for FreeRTOS.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to achieve project goals.
• Employ tools such as Logic Analyzer and Oscilloscope for debugging and testing purposes.

Requirements

• Proficient in C programming language.
• Experience with embedded C and firmware development.
• Knowledge of RTOS and regulated environments.
• 3+ years of development experience in embedded applications.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• ITAR compliant.

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Ability to work with microprocessors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
