About the Role

The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining real-time embedded software applications in a defense or aerospace environment. The role involves hardware/software integration, full software development lifecycle, and working within Agile methodologies. The position requires an active Secret clearance and is based in Orlando, FL.

Key Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of C++ real-time embedded software applications.
Perform hardware/software integration and participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, testing, and verification.
Utilize Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools for software development processes.
Work on software functionalities such as GPS-aided inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, IR seeker image processing, mission data transfer, and 1553 interface algorithms.

Requirements

Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with development and maintenance of C++ real-time embedded software applications.
Hands-on experience with Ada programming language.
Experience with software functionalities including GPS-aided inertial navigation, guidance, autopilot, launch sequence and control, gimbal LOS control, IR seeker image processing, mission data transfer, and 1553 interface algorithms.
Experience with hardware/software integration and full software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools.
Active Secret clearance.
