About the Role

Stefanini Group is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer in Plymouth, MN. The role involves testing embedded software for lifesaving CRRT devices within a regulated industry, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety and quality. The position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in patient care through innovative technology and solutions, including working with real-time embedded systems utilizing Green Hills Integrity OS within complex electro-mechanical devices.

Key Responsibilities

Help test the embedded software for CRRT devices, ensuring safety and reliability.
Develop critical care tests on the Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy PrisMax device within an Agile (Scrum) framework.
Work with real-time embedded software systems utilizing Green Hills Integrity OS within complex multi-therapy electro-mechanical devices.
Develop test protocols and thoroughly execute software tests including scripted protocol execution, ad hoc testing, and exploratory testing.
Create and update tests in Microfocus ALM and perform peer reviews.
Estimate work, write test documentation, and investigate high-priority field issues.
Collaborate with architects, developers, systems engineers, and other cross-functional personnel to deliver safe solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in embedded software testing in a regulated industry.
Proficiency in various software development lifecycle methodologies including Agile, Iterative, V-Model, etc.
Experience developing and executing test protocols, including regression analysis, feature analysis, requirements engineering, and use-case development.
Ability to communicate defects, test methodologies, and progress effectively with peers.
Passion for patient care and safety.

Demonstrated experience performing regression analysis, feature analysis, requirements engineering, and use-case development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
3+ years of professional experience in embedded software testing.
