As a Full Stack Developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods.
Switch between different programming languages and learn new ones as necessary.
Perform code reviews and debugging merge requests.
Work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
Help create solutions for large data sets and manage data stores.
Contribute to developing systems that consider current architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.

Requirements

2+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using Agile methods.
2+ years of experience with software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
Experience switching between different languages and learning new ones as necessary.
Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, and software products.
Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
Experience performing code reviews and debugging merge requests.
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of hire date.

Nice to Have

Experience with Java, including Java Spring Framework, Python, C#, C, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal.
Experience creating solutions for large data sets and managing data stores.
Experience with structured and unstructured data types, including non-textual sources such as video, audio, and imagery.
Experience working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT.
Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium.
Knowledge of the data and tools associated with various intelligence disciplines.
Knowledge of standards in JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, and HTTP specification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
