Key Responsibilities

Be part of a revenue-generating organization with a charter to increase Oura's brand recognition and drive product sales, focusing on both Direct-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business channels.
Partner with Product and UX to deliver reliable and scalable solutions using TypeScript, DynamoDB, Redis, and AWS technologies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams through strong communication skills.
Proactively focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet user and business needs.
Design and implement testable and well-documented code, ensuring platform security and compliance.
Assist in designing and implementing experiments and A/B tests to inform product direction and improvements.
Push for architectural improvements to enable scaling and new product development.
Work through ambiguously defined problems, breaking them down into clear, simple, and actionable solutions.
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in software engineering and apply it to develop, execute, and improve action plans.

Requirements

Experience in software engineering with a focus on full stack development.
Proficiency with TypeScript, DynamoDB, Redis, and AWS technologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision making.
Experience designing and implementing testable, well-documented code.
Knowledge of security and compliance regulations relevant to platform development.
Ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems and develop clear solutions.

Nice to Have

Experience with designing and implementing experiments and A/B tests.
Experience working in a cross-functional squad environment.
Familiarity with scaling architecture and building new types of products.
