About the Role

The Global Data Strategy Analyst will help shape Equifax's Data Strategy and execution of that strategy across the Global Data Office, business units (BUs), and countries (GEOs), as well as the broader enterprise. Reporting to the Head of Global Data Strategy, the role involves supporting strategic planning, partnering on high-priority data projects, and developing a global data scorecard. The position works across functions including data & analytics, IT, finance, and product, with a hybrid work schedule based in midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

Combine internal and external intel on data trends, distill key insights, and articulate relevant opportunities and approaches for Equifax data.
Support the head of Global Data Strategy in assisting BUs in countries to develop and harmonize data strategy against global data priorities.
Support the head of Global Data Strategy to help identify global needs across geographies to guide global data priorities and resources.
Partner with business units and countries on strategic projects and establishing standard processes such as data expansion opportunities and growth initiatives.
Work closely with BU and country teams to create a data scorecard for monitoring the health and value of data.
Independently provide actionable insights through well-designed visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Looker.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis, product management, and/or consulting regarding data, preferably in financial services.
Experience with complex data analysis, visualization, and developing insights based on data.
Ability to develop compelling presentations for senior leaders.
Basic experience with ETL tools and scripting languages such as Python and SQL.
Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Nice to Have

Masters in Analytics or a similar degree.
Independent in thinking and framing problems, driven by intellectual curiosity.
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
Executive presence and comfort when presenting to senior leaders.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Cloud experience, especially Google Cloud Platform and/or a certification.
Data Strategy consulting experience.
Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra or Informatica.
Experience in developing KPI and OKR programs.
Process design or process improvement experience.
