We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Global GTM Target Setting Competency Hub, a central analytics team supporting Stripe's Go-To-Market and Marketing organizations. The team collaborates with Finance & Strategy, Global Planning, Marketing Operations, and the GTM Revenue Data Science team to align goals, foster accountability, and enable informed decision-making. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will architect target-setting frameworks, contribute to strategic planning, and support Stripe's success through data-driven insights and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to establish data-driven goals and performance metrics that align with overall business objectives.
  • Design and implement sophisticated predictive models and tools for sales forecasting and dynamic target allocation systems, ensuring connectivity of metrics throughout the sales funnel.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in target setting, leveraging data science techniques and industry best practices.
  • Lead the design and execution of experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different target-setting methodologies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations and narratives to communicate complex findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
  • Oversee implementation of systems and tools, working with internal teams to communicate goals and progress clearly across the organization.
  • Contribute to foundational principles and policies on measuring success of teams and individuals.
  • Define and prioritize the development of tools and platforms to streamline target-setting and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilize statistical techniques to assess scenarios and quantify the potential impact of business outcomes on metric design and attainment distributions.
  • Lead or contribute to exploratory initiatives to uncover new ways to leverage data for Stripe's growth.
  • Engage in research and experimentation with analytical techniques, developing novel approaches to target setting and performance management.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics or data science partnering with business functions such as Revenue Operations, Finance, Growth, Marketing, preferably within the tech or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of independently leading go-to-market forecasting or data science projects from problem definition to impactful business outcomes.
  • Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Skills in at least one scripting language (Python and/or R) for statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling, statistical techniques, and A/B testing.
  • Ability to transform raw data into usable data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes, including KPI development and performance measurement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making through data insights.
  • Bias for using tools efficiently, balancing speed and accuracy.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce data management, system configuration, and building reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with Anaplan for Headcount Management, Territories, Quota, or Productivity.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annual US base salary range of $167,300 - $251,000.
  • Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
