About the Role

Brookfield Wealth Solutions ("BWS"; NYSE/TSX: BNT) is focused on securing the financial futures of individuals and institutions through a range of retirement services, wealth protection products, and tailored capital solutions. Through our operating subsidiaries, we offer a broad range of insurance products and services, including annuities, personal and commercial property and casualty insurance, and life insurance. The internship provides exposure to corporate culture and work environment through accounting-related functions, with mentorship, coaching, and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting current teams with ongoing business requirements.
Working on analytics projects involving optimization, statistics, analytic modeling, data processing, etc.
Participating in presentations and training sessions.
Supporting activities related to sectors such as commercial and residential real estate, structured products, derivatives, equities, and alternative investments.

Requirements

Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Strong team player with a good work ethic.
Flexible to come into the office.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Mature, tactful, and possessing a professional image.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure, and be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA.
Strong programming skills, with emphasis on Python.
Strong mathematical and mathematical-finance background.
Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.

Working knowledge of SQL.
