About the Role

The US Foods Summer Internship Program provides a forum for students to apply classroom skills and academic training in a real-world business environment. Interns will be assigned impactful projects, receive mentorship and guidance, and have exposure to executive leadership. The internship is full-time, paid, and offers opportunities for learning, social events, and potential full-time employment post-graduation. The position is hybrid, combining onsite and remote work, and is targeted at students seeking practical experience in web analytics within the food distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

Build Tableau dashboards that track and visualize customer journeys and browsing behavior across digital platforms.
Develop a consolidated customer experience dashboard integrating multiple data sources.
Assist in organizing, consolidating, and documenting tagging specifications within Adobe Launch.
Support testing and validation of digital tags to ensure accurate data collection.
Standardize and document recurring reports in Adobe Analytics.
Provide ad hoc reporting support and data pulls to address business questions.
Partner with web analysts, customer experience managers, product owners, and other digital team members to align key metrics, definitions, and reporting standards.
Create requirements documentation and user stories that outline desired processes and specifications.
Support cross-functional teams by translating raw data into insights and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Science, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics or related area of study.
Must be enrolled in school during the internship period.
Typically, students between their Junior and Senior years or between their 1st and 2nd years of graduate school will be considered.
Experience with business process optimization and/or gathering business requirements.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
Basic understanding of tagging concepts or website tracking implementations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Attention to detail, curiosity, and eagerness to learn enterprise analytics tools.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Exposure to web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar).
Exposure to the Agile methodology.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a relevant degree program during the internship.
