About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and support existing internal and customer facing websites.
• Assist other developers in development, maintenance, and testing.
• Work with the development team, Management, and Users to develop software to improve processes within the company.
• Train other developers and users on new and existing software.
• Suggesting new and improved technologies or infrastructures to continue to improve the department/company.
• Maintain legacy software solutions.
• Keep organized and detailed documentation of all programming tasks and help maintain documentation of different aspects of the department for ease and speed of fixing problems as well as training new employees.
• Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Database Relations and Programming logic/flow.
• Experience with use of PHP.
• Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to relay a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude while working in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate a service-oriented attitude with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work after normal business hours or weekends.
• Willingness to work within the standards already developed by K&M Tire.
• Ability to lift 15-20 lbs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Twitter Bootstrap, RPGLE, and DB2.
• Mobile development experience in iOS / Android.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
