About the Role

The J2EE Developer role at Rose International involves developing and modifying applications within the aerospace industry. The position requires expertise in J2EE technologies, web service integration, and database management, with a focus on delivering detailed design documentation and adhering to Service Oriented Architecture principles. This is a full-time, onsite temporary position based in Atlanta, GA, with a duration of approximately 6 months and an hourly rate of $36.94.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and modifying applications using J2EE technologies.
Developing detailed design documentation for technology deliverables.
Applying knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture principles.
Conveying issues, reports, and deliverables effectively through strong oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

Experience with J2EE technologies such as Core Java, EJB, JDBC, JMS, RAD 7.5, WebSphere 7.0, and Servlets.
Solid experience with J2EE frameworks such as smartGWT, iBATIS, Castor.
Database experience in Oracle.
Experience with Web Service Technologies such as JaxWS, SOAP, and WSDL.
Strong XML processing experience.
Experience with JavaScript and HTML.
2-3 years of J2EE development experience.
Experience with asynchronous communication and UML diagramming.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming principles.
Experience with version control software such as ClearCase.
Familiarity with MS Office and Visio.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Nice to Have

Experience with Web Service technologies such as JaxWS, SOAP, and WSDL.
Experience with complex programming, debugging, data analysis, and problem resolution within OO application systems.
Self-starter, highly motivated, and team-oriented individual.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
