Java Springboot Developer with Payment Integration

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design.
• Create high-level design artifacts.
• Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience working with Payment processing systems, Payment Gateways, Payment Acquirers, or Payment Companies, including Customer Initiated and Merchant Initiated Payment Processing.
• Experience in Payment/card number/bank account data tokenization.
• Understanding of integration with popular 3rd party payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo).
• Knowledge of payment processes like authorization, capture, settlements, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices messaging technologies (AWS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience in creating and using RESTful web services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with NoSQL Databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase.

Nice to Have

• Ability to integrate with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, NgRx-platform.
• Experience of working with automation testing frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver/TestNG, Maven, Junit, Mockito.
• Knowledge of CICD with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with logging frameworks like Splunk, Prometheus.
• Experience with Non-Functional requirements such as User Authentication, IAM, Performance, and Application security.
• Experience in building and managing micro-services-based applications, including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring, and independent scaling of services.
• Ability to work in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
