Lead AI Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI/ML solutions using the AWS ecosystem (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, etc.)
• Build and train models for risk analysis, workflow automation, and internal GenAI tools
• Lead end-to-end development—from data ingestion to production deployment
• Collaborate with business and product teams to identify and prioritize use cases
• Translate ambiguous business problems into actionable, AI-powered solutions
• Establish best practices, tooling, and workflows for future AI initiatives
• Mentor and guide developers as the AI function grows

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or Java
• Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML tools (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend)
• Proven ability to build, deploy, and scale ML models in production
• Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, unstructured environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMs, GenAI, and NLP-based applications
• Background in mortgage, lending, or financial services
• Familiarity with MLOps and production model governance
• Strong communication skills across technical and business teams
