About the Role

The Lead Data Science Analyst role involves working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven insights to solve business problems and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
  • Solve business problems by leveraging techniques such as segmentation, optimization, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics and provide insights.
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design of experiments, analysis methodology, modeling, and financial impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis including data gathering, analysis, and presentations.
  • Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
  • Establish and maintain performance tracking, identify improvement opportunities, and propose tests to drive strategy enhancement.
  • Manage multiple priorities and communicate business performance and project progress to management and partners.
  • Develop and automate reports, build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale, and ensure accuracy of work products.
  • Follow standard work processes and documentation requirements, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Marketing Analytics, Optimization, Operations Analytics, Modeling/Data Science, or related areas.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
  • Primarily remain in a stationary position and work indoors in an office setting.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Fraud Analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
