About the Role

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. EFT also offers unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. The Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) team supports team member focused applications and processes, including payroll, benefits, learning, and recruiting. The role involves supporting Workday Engineering functions for product teams, which are dedicated Agile teams supporting configuration, integration, Orchestration, and Workday Extend engineering for Workday HR products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Workday applications using Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate, Integration Systems, Report Writer, and Workday Studio capabilities
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise environment, and technical challenges
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions, influencing and leading technology teams
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
  • Serve as a peer mentor and team tech lead

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 5+ years of HR technology experience (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or Workday)
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • 5+ years of technology release or implementation experience
  • 1+ years of Workday Studio and Integration Systems experience

Nice to Have

  • 1+ years of Workday Extend and Workday Orchestrate experience
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR technology solutions, products, and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Ability to shift priorities as workflow/volume dictates

  • Salary range of $111,100-$197,500 (posted locations)
