About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small, dedicated team of data engineers and analysts through mentorship, technical guidance, and priority setting.
• Own and execute on key projects, especially those that cross organizational boundaries such as customer success, field operations, and product.
• Define and maintain a roadmap of high-impact data work that supports product insights and internal business operations.
• Serve as the connective tissue between product data and customer-facing teams by helping integrate insights across systems and functions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and execute analytical work in service of concrete business and product decisions.
• Champion data quality, documentation, and rigor across all team activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science, including fluency with tools like SQL, Python or R, and cloud data environments.
• 3+ years of experience managing individual contributors.
• Experience leading small teams and balancing hands-on work with people management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in navigating competing priorities and advocating for data-informed work.
• Ability to work within constraints and drive meaningful progress in low-investment environments.
• Proficiency in translating complex data into actionable insights and improving systems and collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in or with life sciences R&D and/or enterprise SaaS organizations.
