About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives of significant scope, complexity, and responsibility in creative vision, strategy, and execution; with ability to operate as both player and coach
• Deep understanding and balance of customer, business, and shareholders needs and cross-functional partnership, collaboration, and decision making
• Strong communication (written, verbal, and visual), influence, and persuasion skills
• Actively engage in the leadership triad (PM, Dev, Design) to guide strategic vision, drive alignment, and deliver with high quality
• Drive outside-in, customer-centric thinking, doing, and building during the entire product process - from vision and exploration to narrowing and curation of every touchpoint to be excellent
• Communicate design direction and intent with customer-backed and defensible principles and frameworks

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Design, with 5+ years of management experience
• Experience working on verticalized industry solutions strongly preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Design Strategy, or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality design output through a team
• Knowledge and experience in delivering product design deliverables such as design prototypes, documentation, design specs, assets (web and mobile), or similar
• Strong business acumen and experience in managing multiple stakeholders and senior leadership expectations
• Experience leading designers as a mentor, design lead, and manager
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Design
• 5+ years of management experience
• Experience working on verticalized industry solutions (strongly preferred)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Design Strategy, or equivalent relevant experience

• Expected base pay range in Bay Area California: $226,000 - $305,000
• Eligibility for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs
