About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the deliverables of a small team of TPMs working on related aspects of Datadog's infrastructure.
• Develop team members' skills and support their career growth.
• Take a hands-on approach by leading projects or establishing processes to ensure high-quality deliverables and TPM best practices.
• Understand Datadog technology and the challenges faced by engineering teams to establish credibility with technical peers.
• Communicate with and present the team's work to leadership and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager working on large-scale, cross-organizational projects.
• Experience managing a small team of 2 or more TPMs.
• Ability to coach team members in their careers and delivery, and establish norms and best practices in a dynamic environment.
• Data-driven approach to program management, including building tools and leveraging data.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to navigate technical conversations regarding cloud-based infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
• Experience building and fostering strong working relationships, negotiating, and working collaboratively across organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to assess problems and implement solutions considering technology and customer perspectives.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in technical program management and leadership roles.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and software development lifecycle.

• Estimated yearly salary range: $179,000—$228,000 USD.
