About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven, results-oriented Manager of Paid Media to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team in St. Petersburg, FL. As a steward of SalonCentric's paid media investment, you will leverage data and analytics to develop, execute, and optimize omnichannel paid media campaigns, driving profitable revenue growth, and elevating our brand presence in the professional beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of data-driven, omnichannel paid media strategies, encompassing Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, Online Video, and Trade Media, to achieve business objectives, build brand awareness, acquire new customers, and drive store traffic.
  • Distill marketing priorities into media strategies and tactics that align to company and brand strategic goals and complement holistic marketing support (CRM, influencer, e-commerce, print, and in-store).
  • Brief and direct external agency partner(s) to build strategic media framework, define target audiences, select optimal media channels, and establish KPIs/benchmarks for success.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot campaign performance issues in partnership with the agency, conducting root cause analysis to determine underlying factors and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee budget management, forecasting, and reconciliation processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal processes.
  • Develop insightful campaign performance reports to inform strategic decision-making and communicate the impact of paid media activities to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and unbiased reporting and campaign management.
  • Identify and resolve process and technical challenges independently, proposing effective solutions.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including brand marketing, ecommerce, agency, brands, and vendors.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics to inform decision-making and citing data to support recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices, and identify opportunities to test new tactics and technologies.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the team and contribute to SalonCentric's digital marketing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in omnichannel media planning and buying (agency or client-side).
  • Proven track record of managing annual budgets of at least $1M.
  • Experience developing and executing media plans in paid social, SEM, programmatic, and online video.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, trend identification, A/B testing, and actionable insights using attribution models.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Data Clean Rooms is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, and Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of marketing attribution, measurement methodologies, site tagging, Data Clean Rooms, and advanced analytics for paid media.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to anticipate challenges and address them proactively.
  • Collaborative partner with strong listening skills and ability to build alignment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the beauty or retail industry is a plus.
  • Ability to remain stationary or sit for most of the day, operate a computer and office equipment, lift 10 lbs, and stand for long periods.

  • Experience with Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Data Clean Rooms.
