Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3)
Develop backend systems and APIs using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js)
Lead architectural decisions and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery
Oversee the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK)
Ensure cloud infrastructure follows security best practices and compliance standards
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of software and DevOps engineers
Collaborate with product managers, QA, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, deployment strategies, and team performance
Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team growth

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
8+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of experience in technical leadership or managerial role
5+ years of strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, IaC, containerization)
5+ years of experience and deep understanding of cloud security, networking and system design
3+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments

Nice to Have

Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred)
Experience with modern programming languages (preferred)
