About the Role

The Margin & Reporting Analyst position will perform duties related to reporting, data analysis, and financial monitoring within Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor serving various local customers including restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and schools. The role involves working with multiple departments to create reports, maintain systems, and support sales growth and profitability efforts. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and is based on-site in Oakwood, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with multiple departments to determine reporting needs and create reports based on requested information, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Maintain and administer reporting systems and reports, including knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports, verify product price accuracy, and resolve issues quickly through excellent problem-solving skills.
Monitor costs and pricing of products by category to ensure profit expectations while supporting sales growth.
Enter and monitor street deviations for Area Managers to support sales and profitability goals.
Set up and maintain independent street sales bids and contracts.
Assist in performing ad hoc financial analysis and administering discount initiatives and programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1+ year in data collection and analysis.
Strong computer and spreadsheet skills with a good general accounting understanding.
Attention to detail and awareness of deadlines.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
3-5 years in data collection and analysis.
2-5 years of Foodservice experience.
Experience with Power BI, coding in DAX and SQL.
Foodstar/AS400 experience.
Expert skills in Excel, Access, Adobe, and Monarch programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
