About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors a team of data scientists in the development of data science solutions
• Manages data science projects from inception to completion, applying advanced analytical techniques
• Designs and implements algorithms in data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
• Enhances the company's capabilities in predictive analytics and decision-making
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to translate data-driven insights into strategic actions
• Contributes to maintaining the company's position as a leader in the telecommunications industry
• Participates in other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed

Requirements

• 7+ years proven experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis in an ML engineer or data scientist role building and deploying ML models or hands-on experience developing deep learning models
• 4+ years demonstrated ability writing and speaking about technical concepts to business, technical, and lay audiences and giving data-driven presentations
• 4+ years experience with data querying, wrangling, cleaning, and feature engineering in big data environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• 4+ years experience in deploying data mining, visualization, and machine learning solutions using tools like Python, R, SAS in big data environments
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and management
• Expertise in designing and implementing algorithms for predictive analytics and decision-making
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of data scientists, driving project completion and innovation
• Hands-on development experience with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Function Apps, App Services, Blob Storage, CosmosDB)
• Proficiency in GenAI workflows, including embedding, chunking, and working with LLM models such as GPT-4
• Familiarity with managed identities and security integration within Azure environments
• Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Subject area (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
