Key Responsibilities

  • Work on applications and products that are on the forefront of technology.
  • Partner with application owners, business partners, and peer groups regarding technical solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Analyze and contribute to project and business requirements based on product team milestones and priorities.
  • Plan, prioritize, and perform assigned tasks within deadlines as a technologist working with other engineers.
  • Be responsible for end-to-end application development and delivery, including production deployment, operationalization, and observability.
  • Develop solutions that are well engineered, flexible, resilient, operable, maintainable, and can be delivered on schedule.
  • Develop applications/web services and cloud-native apps using Spring Boot, GCP, REST API, and other tech stacks.
  • Work with technologies that connect modern apps with legacy infrastructure, leveraging streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
  • Specialize in using GraphQL schema and APIs, troubleshooting and resolving performance, scalability, and responsiveness issues.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML (including GenAI) and automating processes.
  • Build and deploy services using GitHub, CircleCI, Harness as part of CI/CD processes in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of production issues as needed.
  • Implement and advocate for security best practices.
  • Apply industry technology best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of backend technology experience, such as Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Kafka.
  • 5+ years of database experience including relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and delivering scalable microservices-based applications.
  • 5+ years partnering with architecture, product, and program management teams to influence product development decisions.
  • 5+ years of experience working on projects using mature CI/CD practices, source control such as git, and automated testing frameworks like JBehave, Cucumber.
  • 4+ years of experience with large public cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • 1+ years of experience with GraphQL schema and APIs, troubleshooting performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare domain experience.
  • Hands-on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and automation expertise.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong desire to mentor and coach other engineers.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong understanding of observability and telemetry for decision making.
  • Proficient understanding of infrastructure architecture design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
