About the Role

Certara accelerates medicines using proprietary biosimulation software, technology and services to transform traditional drug discovery and development. As a Principal Software Engineer, you play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our software solutions. Your expertise in software development and commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions for our customers will guide your day to day. You will work with a variety of technologies and frameworks to complete tasks in an efficient manner. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise software applications.
Collaborates with the product team on requirements elicitation to deliver software.
Authors and reviews unit/integration tests.
Participate in code and software review processes.
Collaborates with product, test, and software engineering organization members.
Demonstrates clear leadership across multiple unrelated segments of the broader software organization.
Plays a lead role on strategic initiatives that deliver significant business value to Certara.
Able to lead multiple teams and gain consensus through technical and facilitative leadership.
Thinks strategically across one or more technology, application, or product areas.
Capable of a near executive level of strategic planning, evaluation, and goal setting.
Utilizes a strong understanding of the business and organization to make effective and efficient decisions.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in similar roles.
Experience working in a highly collaborative agile software organization.
