About the Role

The Selling & Customer Experience Project Manager at Banana Republic will play a key role in driving innovative customer experience constructs and strategies across the brand. This individual will partner closely with senior leaders to deliver tools and resources that enhance in-store customer engagement, analyze current customer experience effectiveness, identify opportunities for innovation, and contribute to the planning and execution of new technology and initiatives to build lasting customer loyalty. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative tools and resources to enhance in-store customer engagement and increase brand loyalty.
  • Work with the Merchant team and Store Leadership to create and execute loyalty strategies that drive customer engagement and retention.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and iterate on the effectiveness of current selling tools, resources, and programs, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Analyze the performance of existing selling tools and resources, identifying key areas of opportunity for growth, optimization, and innovation.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to assess product education and selling tools success and develop actionable insights to enhance clienteling offerings.
  • Develop and communicate clear, data-backed recommendations to senior leadership to inform business and customer-centric decisions.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in customer experience and retail to ensure Banana Republic remains ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with the Selling & Customer Experience Director to leverage emerging client acquisition trends and develop new clienteling tools and experiences.
  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify best practices, threats, and growth opportunities within the selling and customer experience space.
  • Serve as a strategic partner across departments to ensure alignment and integration of selling and clienteling strategies.
  • Create compelling presentations to communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within the apparel or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative customer experience tools and resources for a field organization.
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify insights, solve business problems, and drive organizational value.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with senior leaders and stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to create and edit multiple forms of media, including video from various sources.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze large and complex data sets efficiently.
  • Ability to translate complex information into simple, actionable insights for business decisions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly to senior executives.
  • Experience with customer retention program design and management or expertise in customer experience innovation in retail or apparel industries.
