Quality Assurance Engineer-II, Prime Video Ads QA

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review BRDs, Design docs, UX Mock-ups.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Prime Video Ad products.
• Automate dashboards from test results and reports.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
• Raise bugs, triage and manage stakeholder communications (QA status reports, Slack updates).
• Participate in GNG meetings, represent QA team.
• Perform functional and performance automation for key (P0) test scenarios end-to-end.
• Provide launch support during feature/release dial-ups.
• Invent and define processes for improvements whereas applicable, innovate in the role.

Requirements

• 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.
• Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution.

Nice to Have

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
• Experience in Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing.
• Profound experience scripting or coding.
• Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
• Experience with cloud-based testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of video streaming technologies and ad insertion techniques.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
