As a Quantitative Analytics Intern within PNC's Data, Model & Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Tysons, VA. The internship provides real-world experience in quantitative analysis, data science, and modeling within a top U.S. bank, focusing on PNC's Balance Sheet Analytics and Modeling (BSAM) organization.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the PNC summer internship program, performing or assisting with core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results.
Support activities such as process support, internal customer interaction, or internal projects under supervision.
Engage in social learning within the organization by networking with business representatives and peers, participating in mentoring, job shadowing, and community outreach.
Interact with PNC's senior management and learn from quantitative analysts, portfolio managers, and data scientists.
Experience tools used to manage a top bank's balance sheet.
Be placed in one of the following areas for the duration of the internship: Consumer and Commercial Analytics, Portfolio Management, Model Development, Credit Process Management, Data Management, Marketing Analytics, or Line of Business Analytics.

Requirements

Working toward a bachelor's degree, preferably in STEM or business majors such as Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Business.
Junior status with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
Experience in data analysis, preferably using SQL, Python, R, and/or Tableau.
Demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role involving accuracy, analytical thinking, effective communication, and adaptability.

Nice to Have

Strong interest in analytics beyond the listed majors.
Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau.

Qualifications

No formal degree required at the start; candidates must be working toward a bachelor's degree.
Relevant skills in data analysis and familiarity with analytical tools.
