Key Responsibilities
- Performs entry-level technical engineering assignments related to automated laboratory test development.
- Works alongside research personnel assisting with designing and building different components of various lab tests.
- Sets up and operates apparatuses or equipment.
- Collects and organizes information for reports or prepares reports or portions of reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Competent in Fusion360 or equivalent CAD software.
- Basic knowledge in manufacturing (design for 3D printing and CNC).
- Familiar with Python, C++, and Embedded systems.
- Basic electric circuitry knowledge and soldering skills.
