Senior Analyst, Business & Healthcare Intelligence

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Be an expert in healthcare intelligence data sources such as patient volume, procedure volume, claims data, competitor intelligence, and pricing, evaluating data, identifying trends, and drawing meaningful conclusions to inform marketing decisions.
• Contribute to the future state of business and healthcare intelligence by improving data ingestion, evaluating new data sources, and enhancing accessibility and scalability for analytics initiatives.
• Evaluate AI-driven tools to collect and analyze competitor intelligence, market trends, and pricing strategies.
• Design and implement a repeatable market modeling framework to assess opportunities for indication or audience expansion.
• Perform ROI analysis to inform marketing investment decisions as part of a strategy recommendation.
• Pull data, synthesize findings, and tailor presentations according to the audience, transforming analysis into compelling storylines to influence decisions.
• Define corporate support on competitive intelligence and lead a community of Competitive Intelligence professionals for best practice sharing.
• Co-manage healthcare intelligence vendor relationships, oversee data vendor transitions, and manage vendors specializing in competitive intelligence and secondary market research.
• Partner with Business Units to assess data usage, identify needs, and develop tailored solutions that align with corporate objectives.
• Work closely with IT and Analytics teams to translate technical findings and define technical requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Strategy, Marketing Analytics, or Business Intelligence.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and quantitative thinking.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working within Snowflake or similar analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Experience with Python.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to listen and assess pain points of BU partners.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
• Good understanding of data architecture including ingestion, storage, and consumption.
• Experience with healthcare claims data for marketing decisions and strategic planning.
• Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SFDC.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on analysis quality and accuracy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects.
