The team provides reporting and analytics for all MPP Clients across the Revenue Cycle, partnering with Data Acquisition and Engineering to support data-driven decision making and operational improvements in healthcare revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Independently creating, optimizing, automating SQL queries to support revenue cycle reporting needs
Developing and designing standardized data models for analytics and reporting
Validating and reconciling inbound data feeds for completeness and accuracy, and identifying areas for additional data checks
Utilizing data from multiple sources to support performance measurement baselining and trending
Seeking opportunities to improve data management operating efficiencies and effectiveness
Gathering information needed for the definition of technical requirements, including business use cases and user stories
Completing source to target mapping documents for data engineers
Collaborating with project team members to maintain detailed data modeling and requirements documents, including entity relationship diagrams
Identifying capability gaps between current and desired states, such as data gaps and system capabilities
Collaborating with technology stakeholders to communicate business and technical requirements
Communicating ongoing updates to stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment
Identifying and establishing testing metrics/targets to validate that business requirements are being met
Providing report writers with subject matter expertise of existing global data models

Requirements

3+ years of experience working in healthcare-related data analytics or reporting roles
3+ years of intermediate experience working with SQL
Proven beginner level knowledge and experience in data modeling concepts
Proven data mining, processing, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Proven ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues, analyze data for completeness, and propose documented solutions

Nice to Have

3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management Analytics roles
Experience working with both RCM Acute and RCM Ambulatory data, data modeling, analytics, and reporting
Proven knowledge of multiple healthcare electronic record systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, MS4 (AS400)
Proven ability to facilitate constructive dialogue on business requirements
