The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a key contributor on the Business Intelligence team, enabling various departments to make data-driven decisions through designing reports, models, and advanced analytics techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mine multiple data sources to support complex operational analysis and interpret findings with implications for The Trade Desk.
  • Provide monthly analysis of financial performance across regions and offices, developing relationships to determine actionable insights for leadership.
  • Proactively seek and frame opportunities and identify business risks for The Trade Desk.
  • Develop solutions that proactively improve operational efficiency for stakeholders.
  • Act as a consulting resource for data architecture and data model creation across the enterprise.
  • Design, develop, populate, and maintain forecast models, including global revenue and regional or product-specific forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales to share information for forecasts and ensure accuracy and diligence.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 8 - 12 years of analytical experience in Revenue, Sales, or Business Analytics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and experience presenting quantitative information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or R.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience integrating data across disparate sources and platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, be innovative, and outcomes obsessed.
  • Strong communication skills to present technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
