Senior Frontend Software Engineer I (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI applications using LLMs, LangChain, and agent-based frameworks.
• Develop robust and reusable backend systems in Python, with a strong emphasis on AI integration.
• Architect AI pipelines leveraging Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Machine Learning Studio.
• Build and manage intelligent agents capable of autonomous task execution and multi-step reasoning.
• Optimize LLM performance through fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define system architecture and data pipelines for AI-driven products.
• Maintain best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and frameworks, contributing to strategic AI direction.

Requirements

• Experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field.
• Experience writing code for moderately complex applications.
• Experience with programming languages for online applications, microservices or mobile applications.
• Experience designing/building moderately complex applications/automation.
• Experience writing automation test or deployment scripts.
• Experience creating coding/scripting solutions to fix moderately complex problems.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in Python.
• Proven experience working with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Claude, Mistral, or similar).
• Deep expertise with LangChain and AI Agent design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI, including Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, or ML services.
• Experience developing or integrating with AI agents, autonomous workflows, and orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and retrieval pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and scalable backend systems.
• Experience with DevOps tools, version control (Git), and agile development processes.
• Experience with Vector Databases, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or hybrid search.
• Familiarity with tools like Weaviate, Pinecone, ChromaDB, or Qdrant.
• Background in deploying AI models to production, including performance monitoring and feedback loops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or similar field OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
