About the Role

The Senior Manager, Revenue Operations for Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) plays a critical role in driving business insights and enhancing sales performance. This individual serves as the voice of sales to finance and executive leadership by translating sales objectives and challenges into actionable insights. The role involves creating accurate sales forecasts, identifying potential revenue risks, and fostering strong partnerships with finance. It is a position within a fast-growing, highly visible team focused on leveraging digital advertising and first-party sales data to support Sam's Club's overall growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with sales teams to create a highly accurate sales forecast each quarter, developing tools including bottoms-up analyses and models to provide insights into sales performance.
  • Partner closely with finance to ensure metrics are shared from a single MAP point of view.
  • Identify and raise risks to revenue proactively, developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with sales and finance leadership.
  • Manage revenue operations reports and partner with the business intelligence team to enable business teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the overall business and how different products and sales investments fit into the broader strategy.
  • Define critical KPIs and operating rhythms to help teams manage performance and create operational rigor.
  • Serve as the primary point person for the Executive Team on understanding metric movements and trends, providing data-driven insights.
  • Drive improvement in sales reporting to enable fact-based insights that support sales targets and business objectives.
  • Support cross-functional teams with long-term planning and annual operation plan processes by leading bottoms-up revenue forecasting with sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on projects focused on improving revenue growth and sales productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or sales finance.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, across all levels of internal stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional tech and operations teams.
  • Demonstrates company values and beliefs.
  • Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Digital advertising experience preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of related experience.
