About the Role

BorgWarner PDS (USA) Inc. seeks a Senior Software Development Lead Engineer based out of their office at 3800 Automation Avenue, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. This is a hybrid position requiring work from both the office and home, with no travel required. The role involves leading software project activities, managing software requirements, configuration, integration, releases, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Software Project work to achieve software deliveries that meet the input requirements and program expectations with agreed resources and other prerequisites.
Lead software configuration management, software requirements, software integration, software releases and development environments.
Analyze sources of software requirements and identify requirements to be implemented.
Coordinate software development activities within the Software Project.
Maintain software schedule and release plan, milestones and managing Project resources.
Identify Software Project risks and make recommendations to minimize risk.
Represent the Software Project in any Audits.
Ensure that compliance with Software Deployment policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer & Information Science, or Computer Engineering.
96 months of experience in a lead software engineer role or related position.
Experience with the V model for software development.
Experience in deploying and managing software development projects in Automotive SPICE.
Experience deploying software development projects according to ISO 26262 requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer & Information Science, or Computer Engineering.
96 months of experience in a lead software engineer role or related position.
