Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a strong, passionate engineering team.
• Rapidly build and deploy new product features to serve the needs of our growing user base.
• Work closely with the product and design team to refine and prioritize features.
• Work closely with the quality team to write testable code, fix bugs, and ship improvements.
• Review commits to uphold standards of code quality and security.

Requirements

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a minimum of 4 years of industry experience as a software engineer.
• 4+ years experience building web application servers using technologies like Rails, Flask, or Node.
• 4+ years experience building web application front-ends with technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.
• A strong ability to execute both individually and as part of a team.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced and passionate about front-end development.
• Usability-minded and committed to providing a great customer experience.
• Analytical with solid problem solving skills.
• Able to write readable, reusable, and performance conscious code.
• Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiar with a variety of software development methodologies, tools, languages, and approaches.

• The estimated pay range for New York candidates is $175,000 - $200,000 base.
• Position is eligible for Dealpath's equity plan.
• Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, education, location, and interview performance.
